Offical Sod Turning for Gaynes Park Suites

A sod-turning ceremony was held for Gaynes Park Suites marking the official commencement of stage 2 of Life Care’s $47 million new senior housing concept in Joslin. Attended by Federal Member for Sturt, James Stevens MP, Life Care CEO Allen Candy, Chairman John Stock and Managing Director Neil Mossop. Gaynes Park Suites will comprise of 41 single and two-bedroom assisted living suites and include a concierge, communal dining and lounge areas, a library, multi-purpose rooms, consulting specialists rooms and landscaped gardens. Residents will live with a level of independence and be assisted with services from housekeeping, provided meals, personal care to nursing and medical support. They will also be provided with a range of health and well-being programs onsite and via Life Care Active located opposite, to encourage social interaction and Physical activities supporting residents overall wellness. Construction is expected to be completed by late 2020 with approximately 80 jobs to be created during construction and a further 12 full time positions once the facility is operational.
