"Building Better Care: Moore Court’s Transformation Begins"

06/10/25

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve been appointed to deliver the redevelopment of Moore Court at Boandik’s Lake Terrace home in Mount Gambier.

Designed in collaboration with Brown Falconer, this transformative project will reimagine the former Moore Court facility into a purpose-built, dementia-friendly unit setting a new benchmark for aged care in regional South Australia.

Construction is now underway, with completion expected by late March 2026. The new unit will feature 11 private rooms with ensuites, along with inviting communal spaces including dining and lounge areas, and kitchen facilities. Carefully considered design elements such as natural lighting, intuitive wayfinding, and sensory gardens will foster a calming and supportive environment tailored to the needs of residents living with dementia. The result will be a warm, home-like setting that prioritises dignity, safety, and culturally sensitive care.

We’re proud to be partnering once again with Boandik, alongside Brown Falconer, Tonkin Consulting, and BCA Engineers, to deliver a project that will leave a meaningful and lasting impact on residents and the wider Mount Gambier community.
