Mossop Construction is proud to be delivering Boandik’s new $3.5 million dementia care unit at Lake Terrace, helping address a critical shortage of specialist aged care services across the Limestone Coast.

The purpose-built 11-bed facility will feature modern dementia-friendly design, including natural lighting, sensory gardens and clear wayfinding to support residents living with advanced dementia. Funded through the Australian Government’s Aged Care Capital Assistance Program, the project marks another important investment in local community care infrastructure.

Boandik CEO Pamela Alde said the development reflects the organisation’s commitment to improving care outcomes and quality of life for older residents, while also celebrating Boandik’s 70 years of service to the region.
