Judges Comments: "The Flinders University Building is an education facility with teaching laboratories split over two levels. Located in an old excavated area, latent conditions of stormwater and old fire mains requiring diversions, added challenges to the already restricted and difficult site. The contractor has delivered a well-executed building with a range of high-quality finishes, responding to complex design and constructability issues. The building as completed ahead of schedule and within budget enabling the University to meet its critical dates for commencement of lectures”.
