Demolition, rebuilding and extension works to the 1870’s former school building now houses the re-branded Ottelia Restaurant and Winery, which has been operational for 13+ years. With its new commercial kitchen and extended, vibrant dining area, which now offers a new wine tasting area / cellar door, the restaurant’s rejuvenation has no doubt increased trade.

Pre-existing structures were utilised and enhanced with modern architectural features such as Corten walls and bespoke furniture to compliment the refurbishment style.

Working within a community space and some design changes made throughout the construction period proved challenging, however didn’t affect the project’s programs or budget. Mossop proposed some changes as well to better suit the client’s requirement, which were taken on board.

Being our first project for Ottelia + Fodder, we are pleased to have meet their exceptions and delivered a high-quality result for their business to further flourish.
