This project provided a mix of medium density apartments and townhouses which are being developed as part of the broader site masterplan for mixed use urban development. The project was 16 apartment dwellings over three floors, with layouts ranging from one to two bedrooms including ground floor carparking. All apartments were designed to be dual aspect to allow for effective cross ventilation and access to maximum daylight, each has private outdoor space plus access to common outdoor space, and each is provided with energy and water efficient fixtures and fittings. This development was designed to achieve a 5 Star Green Star Multi‐Unit Residential Design rating, which demonstrates 'Australian Excellence' in environmentally sustainable design. Mossop Construction + Interiors brought significant value in the form of innovative building design and passive construction solutions incorporating the use of materials such as Recycled concrete, Recycled timber, Recycled bricks, Speed-floor systems, MGO Board panels and ZEGO ICF parti walls and ZEGO Re-form Concrete walls.
