The Portland Library Redevelopment project was officially opened on Friday by Mayor Cr. Anita Rank and the Hon. Gayle Tierney MLC (Member for Western Victoria).

Redevelopment involved the complete internal demolition and fitout of the library and community spaces plus the replacement of the buildings roof and services upgrade. The new floor plan provides a vibrant, multi-functional and welcoming space, which is the foundation for creativity, learning collaboration, innovation, technology and discovery.

The Mossop project team from our regional office in Mount Gambier were very proud to deliver this exciting project in conjunction with the project architects FLIGHTPATH ARCHITECTS and the broader consultant team. The Project was delivered on a tight budget and utilised many local subcontractors. The community, client and library staff are delighted with the new space.
