Mossop Construction + Interiors together with Totalspace Design and TAFE SA are proud to announce we were awarded a Community Partnership Award by the South Australian Department of Correctional Services at the annual Merit Awards Ceremony on Friday for our involvement in the Accommodation Upgrade Project at the Adelaide Women's Prison.

The U-Turn Construction Pathways Program was established and successfully implemented during the project providing prisoners opportunities to learn new skills, gain qualifications and participate in real work environments to create better opportunities for gaining employment upon their release.

The U-Turn program has seen many of the participant’s transition into the workforce, by creating links with the community and establishing a network of pathway employers and affiliated not for profit organisations who recognise the benefit of the U-Turn Program and utilising the valuable skills the women have gained through their involvement.
